About us

Art is not only an expression, it is a right.

We invite you to join our network of artists.

Elizabeth Daley

I am a Dietetics student at the University of Arizona and a self-taught artist. I love nutritional sciences, but the arts are still a huge part of my life. I started drawing out of the Draw 50 books around the second grade and quickly developed my drawing skills. My family, friends, and teachers were very supportive and over the years they encouraged me to try watercolors, pastels, oil, and acrylic, and sculpting. I have mainly stuck with painting as I have moved through the artistic career, but I continue to explore. I have been inspired by fellow artists who have been willing to reach out and share their art in ways that improve the community around them. Their creativity and care for others has sparked my mission to provide a network of artists that are a springboard for their developing ideas.

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." -Pablo Picasso

I have been involved in the arts for as long as I can remember. When I was six years old, I discovered my passion for theater and the performing arts. Since then, I have been performing all around the valley. As I grew older, I also began to work with instruments, songwriting, poetry, and the visual arts. The arts have always been an escape for me, and a way to communicate with others that transcends language. With this organization, I hope to show kids the magic of the arts and encourage them to really dream big. When someone believes in you, everything becomes possible.

I attend Northern Arizona University studying Secondary Education with an emphasis in English and a certificate in Literature. As a child, the only exposure to art I had was art class from kindergarten to sixth grade, but it was very minimal exposure. In middle school, I found my love for reading and writing and began writing short stories and poetry. I carried that love and passion into high school. Also in high school, I involved myself in the arts more by joining theater class and club. I did most of the makeup and costuming for shows. I also tried to involve myself in more visual arts like drawing and painting, but I participate more in creative writing. In my twenty years of life, I have been lucky enough to have enough exposure to art and have had the choice to pursue art; however, there are those that are not so fortunate, and so my mission in life is to influence others to follow their passions and dreams.
